It started with the realization that we needed this. We, the traditional martial arts community, didn’t have a place for people to contribute articles. We lacked a publication that really allowed us to share and learn from each other. Until now.

I’d had the idea for this website for several years, and the time is finally right. Big thanks to Sensei Jaredd Wilson, host of the Martial Thoughts podcast, for being a sounding board and offering his input. You’ll see writing from Sensei Jaredd here, and I look forward to reading it.
