We Have A 3-Way Tie!

Wow. Those of you participating in the Martial Arts Movie March Madness event have been keeping us busy. We were blown away by the response we got in the poll. There has also been lots of behind the scenes conversation and chat as to how we handle certain things. And we very quickly moved from the hypothetical to the actual, as we have a 3-way tie for the bottom two seeds.

Martial Arts MoviesIt seems that the movies Rumble in the Bronx, Game of Death and Above the Law were strongly competing for your votes. As far as I am concerned, these are three classic movies. BUT… you can only choose two to move on. Personally, I’m a fan of them in that order. Which is why I wrote them in that order. And you better believe I’m voting. Because, regardless of my position here, I refuse to cheat to get the result that I want. I could, but I won’t. You’ll just have to trust me on that one.

You can find the reviews for Rumble in the Bronx, Game of Death, and Above the Law right here on the site.

The top vote-getter will get the 15th seed, second will be seeded at 16 and the third vote… is out of the contest. In the event of a tie, the 5-person editorial board will settle it. We would very much prefer that you, the readers, settle this. That’s how it should be.

If you missed out on what’s actually happening, you might want to check out this post (which explains what’s going on) and this one (which gives you a breakdown of the voting).

You can (and should!) cast your votes below. Please pick two. You could pick one, but that would be silly. Choose two, since we need two. The poll will be open until March 31st at 6 pm EDT. Thank you for voting!
